OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

Our privileged position on L´Estanyet beach looking over the Mediterranean, and the wonderful seafront promenade between Les Cases d´Alcanar and the campsite allows for many outdoor sports and activities: rollerskating, cycling, strolling at dusk or a morning run as the sun comes up. Let's not forget fishing either, the area is teeming with huge gilthead bream, as well opportunities for snorkelling and diving.

ACTIVITIES ON THE CAMPSITE

Every year from 1 July until 31 August we organise entertainment activities for children, teenagers and adults:

Children’s workshops (0-12 years) from 6pm to 8pm daily.
Children’s shows: puppet shows, theatre, entertainment activities
Competitions, gymkhana
Mobile disco one night a week
Pétanque competition (similar to boules)
Water fun: canoes, beach floatables
Paint-Ball
Archery
Underwater activities in the pool.

HELP IN ORGANISING YOUR ACTIVITIES

At reception we can suggest and organise activities and even get you all the tickets and passes you need:

-Visit and enjoy the Port Aventura theme park, water parks, mountain biking routes in the Ebro Delta, “Green routes” (old disused railway lines recovered for use by walkers and cyclists), boat trips along the river Ebro and its wetlands, river kayaking, a game of golf at the Panorámica Golf and Country Club (Sant Jordi), horseriding… Just ask and we’ll suggest!

If you fancy going a little further afield (a 1-2-hour journey), you can visit Tarragona, an old Roman city once known as Tarraco, Barcelona, with the Camp Nou stadium, the Sagrada Familia cathedral or even venture south and in an hour and a half you can be in Valencia visiting the modern ‘City of Arts and Sciences’, eating a good paella on the beach or shopping in the most modern and international of shopping centres.

GASTRONOMY AND CULTURE

Being located between Catalonia and Valencia allows you to enjoy the culture and gastronomy of two regions which are so similar, yet so very different at the same time. If we venture into the interior of Castellón province, we can head to Morella or the Els Ports natural park and taste the mountain cuisine renowned for its lamb and truffles. If we head towards the coast to Peñiscola, Vinaroz or Sant Carlos de la Rápita try the local seafood speciality: prawns.
At reception we can find the best option for you and even book you a table.
